Last week we asked you if you were anti-cupid or all for that quirky little cherub meddling in your love affairs, and it sounds like you are all in – just like we are.

Anyhoo, I broke this down for you into artsy and outdoorsy because let’s be honest you aren’t getting any reservations this late in the game sugar muffin.
Outdoorsy friends, I don’t even have to give you any ideas, do I? You’re always so on it; you know you can grab a beer and Bond Brothers, Trophy, (or any of the other fresh
beer joints around town for that matter) or go for a hike at Umstead or Eno. Walk around Franklin Street in Chapel Hill or get ‘yoself some Pineapple whip at the Morgan Street Food Hall.
What about a cooking class? Wine and Design? Pottery making?
Indoorsy friends; Maybe grab a swanky cocktail at 21C and head upstairs for an always entertaining and thought-provoking exhibit at the hotel. The Durham Hotel also has a fantastic bar, and The Parlour never disappoints with an impressive variety of ice cream flavors. What about a public art tour in Raleigh or Durham? The North Carolina Museum of Art also has excellent outdoor trails. What about a drive up 64 West, make a stop at Fearrington for lunch, gush over the belties, pick up a quirky gift at Mcintyre’s books or go thrift shopping in Pittsboro. How about a delightful evening of ax throwing, golf, shooting pool, or shooting guns? (whatever floats your boat honey we don’t judge)
Head to your local farmers market and pick up some quality ingredients, stay in, and cook a fabulous meal together.
Whatever you can do to spend some time together that you both enjoy is probably just perfect!
